Personalized Tutoring 

HelpMeWithComputers offers personal tutoring for a variety of topics that can help you finish your homework faster or become a more important asset to the company you work for.  Rather than waste time trying to learn about things you will never use, we can target the specific tasks that you are trying to accomplish.  Either let us know what you are having trouble with or what you are working on, and we will find a way to improve your skill set based on your needs.

Tutoring can cover (but is not limited to) items similar to those listed below:

• Using your computer for basic tasks including checking email, creating documents, and printing 
• Using Microsoft Word to create professional-quality documents for a variety of purposes
• Using Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets that analyze data and create graphs
• Using Microsoft PowerPoint to create professional-quality presentations with text, pictures, and video
• Using video editing software and hardware to create personal or work-related videos
• Designing basic computer programs to simplify repetitive personal or work-related tasks  

In order to help you retain what you learn about during a tutoring session, HelpMeWithComputers is prepared to make personalized documentation and/or videos describing some of the simple tasks involved in the above topics - customized for your needs. 

If you are interested in our tutoring, we encourage you to come up with a list of things that you would like to learn about.  Our staff can then evaluate your list, group similar tasks together, and get started on teaching you how to get the most out of your computer.  We look forward to hearing from you!

Video Parties

"Video Parties" are especially great for:

• People who are already familiar with video editing
• People looking to bounce editing ideas off others
• People who prefer to learn through their own projects

If you and a group of friends all have the desire to complete a similar project like creating a slideshow or compile a highlight film from old home movies, we can help you facilitate your own "Video Party."  Simply have your friends bring their computers to a designated location and we will take care of the rest.

Please note that if you have old video tapes that need to be converted to digital files, we can also help.  Check out our TAPE TO DVD CONVERSION page for more details.  Unfortunately due to time requirements, we will not be able to convert tapes to DVDs or digital files during a "Video Party."
